All About Eyebrow Wigs
Our eyebrow wigs were invented by Carol Galland, the founder of Headcovers. After losing her hair due to chemotherapy treatments, she dreamt of a way to replace what she’d lost. Unhappy with the 2D effect that mere makeup allowed, she looked for another option. After an exhaustive search, she decided to do it herself.
Carol pioneered the technology and techniques that resulted in an entirely new way to replace eyebrows. Our stick on eyebrows create a 3D effect, making them virtually indistinguishable from real eyebrows in appearance. One by one, a highly skilled artisan carefully positions each strand of real human hair into place, mimicking natural hair growth. A flexible gel base allows your skin to show through, so that the hair in our stick on eyebrows looks like it’s actually growing from the brow line. The see-through base is the main difference between our eyebrow wigs and the lace eyebrows you’ll find elsewhere. With lace eyebrows, you can see knots and fabric at the roots. With our press on eyebrows, it’s just your natural skin.
We consider each eyebrow wig a work of art. Say goodbye to smudged arches and hello to perfectly formed brows every time with our stick on eyebrow wigs.
How to Attach Eyebrow Wigs
We recommend attaching your eyebrow stickers with eyebrow adhesive (it’s the same stuff used to attach fake eyelashes). Simply paint the glue on the back of the mini wig, wait 30 seconds for it to turn clear, then place onto your brow for a long-lasting, worry-free hold. To personalize your glue on eyebrows, try using our Indelible Gel Eyebrow Makeup. This waterproof gel is great for adding thickness and customizing the shape of the stick on eyebrows to exactly match your desired style.
How Long Will My Eyebrow Wigs Last?
Even though many customers are able to wear our glue on eyebrows for two to three days in a row, we do recommend taking them off each evening. Not only does this allow your skin to breathe between each wear, it also increases the longevity of the product. Eyebrow wigs that are cared for properly can last from 2-4 months. What are Eyebrow Tattoos?
Eyebrow tattoos aren’t as scary as they sound. Far from being a lifelong regret, ours are semi-permanent and easy to apply at home with a damp towel. They last for 2-3 days and are waterproof, too. Our artificial eyebrow tattoos are great if you’re a bit nervous about drawing them on yourself, because they’re automatically symmetrical, perfectly shaped, and you can forget about ‘em after they’re on - until it’s time for the next pair.
To remove, all you’ll need is makeup remover or some baby oil on a cotton swab. It doesn’t hurt, and thanks to our safe inks (approved by the FDA), you don’t need to worry about itchiness or a rash. As one happy customer summed up, they’re “easy, carefree, [and] help me look and feel my best.”
Why We Love Eyebrow Makeup
Eyebrow makeup is the styling tool of the brow world. Pencils, powder, and gel allow you to personalize the appearance of whichever false eyebrows you choose. Need those arches to be just a shade darker? Try our Brush On Eyebrow Powder, which comes in 7 natural hues; and remember that combining more than one color to achieve subtle shading will create a 3D impression. Do your tattooed brows need a slight tweak for just a little more attitude? You can customize the shape with our beloved Waterproof Eyebrow Pencil (not that we’re biased, but we think it’s the best on the market). If you’re starting from scratch, the Indelible Gel Eyebrow Makeup brushes on smooth and holds its place all day long. Eyebrow makeup gives you the power to feel like yourself again, even if it takes a bit of fine-tuning to get here.
How to Draw Fake Eyebrows
If the idea of drawing on false eyebrows summons flashbacks from elementary school art class, don’t stress - we have tricks to help you get an A+ every time. But before you get started, be sure to clean the surface of your skin to cleanse the canvas. Soap and water work, but we also recommend using a swipe of alcohol, especially if you have oily skin.
Next, you’ll plot a path. The basic eyebrow shape has 3 points; we’ll call them A, B, and C. To find A, follow an imaginary line front the outside of your nose to the inside corner of your eye. B is from the outside of your nose towards the outside of your eye, plotted directly on the brow bow. C, the high point of the arch, goes in between A and B. After you’ve plotted the points, connect the dots. Make sure the line is thicker between A and C than it is between C and B. Thin, feathery strokes will give you the most natural look.
To top it off, we recommend lightly tracing the surface with an eyebrow brush. This creates the appearance of little hairs, which lends depth to the brow.

Eyebrow Stencils Save the Day
Remember stencils? We’ve got those especially for your brows, aptly called Eyebrow Stencils. Just hold the stencil in place and outline the shape with a brow pencil or brush. Then, remove the stencil and use your makeup tool to fill it in. This same method can be used to re-shape existing brows, if you’ve got some natural growth left. Just use a tweezer to remove hair outside of your desired shape.
A Guide to Eyebrow Shapes
The shape of your eyebrows should not be underestimated. Brows are incredibly emotive; show fierce determination with an S-shape, serenity with a rounded swoop, or set a clear intention with hard, angled arches.
We’ve categorized the range of styles based on 5 distinct factors: arch height, arch shape, thickness, definition, and length. To find your ideal shape, choose a specific characteristic within each factor. For instance, you might like a medium arch with a hard angle, medium thickness, soft definition, and long length. We recommend using this technique to decide upon your signature eyebrow shape. Having a set style will help keep your makeup consistent each time your artificial eyebrows are applied.
To help you visualize the different brow types, we’ve put together a guide on Selecting Eyebrow Shapes, complete with product recommendations for each style and tips on how to best match your eyebrows to your face shape.
