Now that it's August, we all have one thing on our minds: fall! After a long, hot summer, many of us are ready to grab a pumpkin spice latte and slip into something cozy. Now is the time to go shopping for new autumn-ready pieces to perfectly compliment your fall line-up.  From comfy beanies to chic booties, you want to look like your most fashionable self. It can be hard to keep up with the trends, and filter out the trends that are impractical. Don't worry—we found the best trends for you! Take a look at our top 3 most wearable trends for fall 2020.

Fall Trend 1: Plaid & Houndstooth

Plaid, tartan, and houndstooth patterns are fall-favorites that are coming back in a big way this year. Expect to see plaid EVERYTHING—we're talking tops, pants, scarves, hats, and everthing in between. Try wearing a plaid accessory, like this cozy blanket scarf, with a solid top to easily rock this trend.

Fall Trend 2: Jewel Tones

We love our earthy Autumn colors, but this season's (unexpected) trends call for bolder hues. Saturated jewel-tones are a must-wear this season. Wear a bright-colored hat as an accent to a more neutral outfit, or go all-out and colorblock your jewel-tones. We especially love sapphire and bright blue tones for Fall; Classic Blue is the Pantone Color of the Year, so you know its en vogue.

Fall Trend 3: Vintage Floral Prints

This fall is all about breaking the rules! Floral prints usually resolved to Spring and Summer are on the radar for Fall 2020. Vintage-Inspired florals are especially coveted for the coming seasons. We love the idea of rocking this look in both clothing and accessories. A vintage floral scarf or headband is the perfect way to incorporate florals into your fall style.

Fall Trend 6: Fashion Face Masks

By far the most unexpected trend of 2020, fashion-forward face masks are the definition of making the best out of a bad situation. Many states, counties, and companies are requiring face masks in all public spaces. It seems that we will be wearing face masks for coronavirus throughout the fall season. Since masks will be around for an indefinite amount of time, some have taken to wearing their masks as fashion accessories. French designer Marine Serre even featured matching face mask outfits on the runway (shown above). Cloth face masks in both prints and solid colors can be coordinated with your outfit to create a cute and trendy look. Bonus: you can find face masks in any of the popular prints for fall 2020 listed above!
